In the depth of Winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible Summer.” -Albert Camus
It takes strength to ask for help! The decision to seek counseling can be difficult and feel vulnerable. I am so glad that you are here, and I will accompany you on this healing journey with empathy and nonjudgment. Being embodied on this beautiful planet can at times be delightful and at other times challenging, but it is always precious. I feel gratitude both for the long journey here and for arriving in this place of healing. I am passionate about counseling!
My areas of specialization include relationships, attachment, sexuality, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss. My approach is relational, humanistic and trauma informed. I work with couples, individuals, adult family members, and LGBTQIA+ through body-based, direct experience considering family of origin, attachment, emotions, and the unconscious, with you leading the way.
I am integrative and am informed by Gottman, EFT, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Hakomi, and Internal Family Systems.
Outside of the counseling room you will find me practicing yoga, lifting weights, hiking, or hitting the street for a workout. I also enjoy reading, hanging out with my cats and being in nature.
