“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”- Carl Rogers

Welcome! My name is Gabi Halloum, and I am an LPC Associate.

When things get to be too much, it can help to have an impartial, nonjudgmental ear to listen to everything that’s going on. I want to be that ear for you and support you on your healing journey. To me, therapy is a conversation; yes, with the therapist, but also with yourself. It is a means to better understand yourself and what you want for your life. My hope is that everyone who enters the therapeutic space with me feels safe, comfortable, and appreciated exactly as they are.

I specialize in working with individuals, therapeutic groups, those struggling with depression and anxiety, the LGBTQ+ community, boundary setting and identity work. Additionally, my work is informed by modalities such as narrative therapy, feminist therapy, CBT, and solution-focused therapy.

Outside of practice, I enjoy reading, writing, watching scary movies, cooking, walking my dog, exploring the city, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends.
